　　桜の花が京都の街を彩るころ、京野菜を作る鋭二（毎熊克哉）は、パン職人の葉菜（趣里）と結ばれ、うるさ型の葉菜の父（上杉祥三）を説得して、無事、結婚式を挙げる。大原の田舎の家で一緒に暮らし始める２人。パン職人の師匠・玉井（甲本雅裕）から独立した葉菜は石窯で天然酵母のパンを焼き始める。庭師の幸太郎（林遣都）は、師匠の清兵衛（石橋蓮司）から、清兵衛自身の庭の手入れを任される。それは、幸太郎に対する卒業試験でもあった。病に倒れた清兵衛は、幸太郎の仕事を病床から見守る。そして幸太郎にある提言をする。釉子（吉岡里帆）は、かつて志向していた華やかな器ではなく、生活の中で長年使えるような飾り気のない器を作りたいと、父・羊山（本田博太郎）に、火を操ることが難しい登り窯を使わせてほしい、と勇気を出して頼みこむ。それこそ自ら課した容易ならぬ卒業試験。それをクリアした先にある、釉子の思い描く陶芸家への道とは？そして幸太郎との恋の行方は？料亭の東京支店の板長を任されるという話が舞い込んだ甚（矢本悠馬）は、有名な美食家（木場勝己）の宴を取り仕切ることになる。責任重大なこの仕事を甚に任せたのは、板長の伊原（岡田浩暉）だった。女将の唯子（高岡早紀）も優しく甚を見守ることに。未完の天才、甚の才能は開花するのか？当の甚は、この難題をやり遂げた暁には、長年のマドンナ・唯子に結婚を申し込もうという野望を胸に秘めていた。唯子も、失踪していた夫（波岡一喜）との関係に決着をつけ、新たな未来へと歩き出そうとする。春の嵐の予感・・・・果たして５人は無事、卒業試験をクリアして、新しい人生の一歩を踏みだすことができるだろうかddd
