《中年好聲音3》繼續召集本地優秀歌者，還新增設新馬、大灣區兩個賽區，嚴選實力唱將來港參賽。經過多輪海選，新馬賽區、大灣區賽區分別選出20位參賽者，會先在各自賽區接受歌唱考核，再由12名新馬代表與12名大灣區代表展開殘酷PK戰，角逐15個來港參賽的名額，向着好聲音夢想進發！本輯節目再次有主持車婉婉與選手同行，而評審陣容除了肥媽、伍仲衡、張佳添、周國豐，更力邀曾路得、巫啟賢加盟，分別為兩個賽區點評。
